FEATURED GLASS: COOL-LITE SKN 154 II
IAAPS is a world-leading centre of excellence supporting the transport industry in the transition to net zero.
Established to foster engineering innovation through the collaboration of industry, enterprise and academia, IAAPS is a wholly owned commercial subsidiary of the University of Bath.
The university's vision for the development was for a versatile innovation hub where the university and industry could work together flexibly, not just to develop new solutions but also to bridge the sector’s engineering skills gap.
The building facade features Saint-Gobain Glass' COOL-LITE SKN 154 II, to enable a stunning aesthetic, partnered with solar control and thermal insulation. It was vitally important that the glazing specification supported the need of the building to be as sustainable as possible.
