Fire Glass is produced by Vetrotech, part of the Saint-Gobain Group.
Vetrotech produce a range of fire glass variants that are suitable for glazed building applications, including:
- Pyroswiss: an integrity only product that offers fire protection from both sides of the glass.
- Contraflam Lite: a product that provide integrity and radiation protection, also known as the EW criteria. This classification not only keeps flames and hot gases away from the protected area, it also provides protection against the radiated heat from the fire.
- Contraflam: a wide range of products that offer symmetrical fire resistance meeting EI criteria. This classification provides temperature insulation on the surface opposite to the fire, as well as protecting from flames and hot gases.
